In winter, your battery works harder to heat the cabin and keep lithium cells warm. A Tesla Model Y or Hyundai IONIQ 5 rated for 500 km will realistically deliver about 320–350 km during freezing weather.
Hybrids (HEV): +12% to +18% Fuel Burn
